フランスより入荷しました、手のひらほどの携帯用聖書です。
金彩でタイトルがあしらわれた背表紙、片側には「A.L.」と筆記体でイニシャルが書かれており、雰囲気のあるお品です。革貼りは経年の艶が美しく、長い時間使われて来たことが容易に想像できます。

また、中のページはほとんどすべてのページに文字を囲むように美しい装飾のデザインが描かれています。パラパラとページをめくるたび、流れるようなアカンサス模様や繊細な十字架と小花のイラストに目を奪われます。

大変雰囲気のあるお品です。小さめサイズなので色々なところにディスプレイできそうです。
そのまま飾っても写真撮影用小物としても活躍してくれそう。
