フランスにて買い付けました、「FIL AU CHINOIS(フィル・オ・シノワ)」の木製ボックスです。
フランスのLilleという街で生まれた、1847年創業の歴史ある糸メーカーのもの。
ミシン用の糸巻きが入っていた木箱です。

蓋にはアルファベットがバランスよくデザインされています。金具には「PARIS」の文字も。

そのまま飾っても大変素敵なディスプレイですが、レースなどの裁縫道具や、細かい雑貨などの収納にも便利そうです。

※蓋が左へ2ミリほどずれています。右へ押し戻しながら金具を下ろすと留めることが可能です。
※本体側の右奥側面が開いてきています。写真でご確認ください。
※蓋に２箇所凹みが見られます。
※内側の紙にシミが多くみられます。
