可愛らしいスミレの花が手書きで描かれたモシュリンヌの小さな木箱。
こちらは切手用のもの。手のひらサイズで可愛らしいお品です。

モシュリンヌとは、スコットランドの小さな村の名で、19世紀初頭、お土産用にすずかげの木（少なくなってからはオリーブの木）で丁寧に作られた木製の小物はモシュリンヌウエアと呼ばれています。1933年以降作られておらず、希少価値が高くコレクターも多いアイテム。

細かな傷、シミはありますが、艶やかで木味がよく、金具もしっかりついていて状態良好です。

※もともと、中は切手が取り出しやすいように斜めに板があったようですが取れています。
※蓋にひび割れを修復した跡が見られます。しっかりと留められており、違和感はありません。
