フランスにて買付しました。

小ぶりなモシュリンヌの木箱には
スミレとミモザの手書きの絵と、「Cannes」の文字が描かれています。
金具もついており、開け閉めもスムーズです。
留め具がボタン式で、しっかり留められますが、開けるのが少し固めです。
くすんだマットな印象です。

モシュリンヌとは、スコットランドの小さな村の名で、19世紀初頭、お土産用にすずかげの木（少なくなってからはオリーブの木）で丁寧に作られた木製の小物はモシュリンヌウエアと呼ばれています。1933年以降作られておらず、希少価値が高くコレクターも多いアイテム。

細かな傷ありますが、艶やかで木味がよく、金具もしっかりついていて状態良好です。
