フランスにて買い付けました、クロスステッチのサンプラーです。
少女が刺繍の練習で、アルファベットや模様、ナンバーなどを刺した布です。

ふっくらとした、やや赤みがかったブラウンの糸と、マスタード色の糸が使われています。
少しずつ刺繍を練習していたのでしょうか、一生懸命な少女の姿が目に浮かびますね。
上段のアルファベット両側のお花、下のクローバーの模様も可愛らしいです。

落ち着いたブラウンの色合いで統一されており、とても素敵な１枚です。
額装して飾っていただくと雰囲気の良いお品です。

古いものになりますのでところどころシミや布が弱っている部分があります。
