フランス北部の古都カンブレで、19世紀から人々に愛され続けてきた伝統菓子「Bêtises de Cambrai（ベティーズ・ド・カンブレ）」の入れ物 TIN缶です。

「ベティーズ＝失敗作」というユーモアあふれる名前の通り、職人の小さな手違いから生まれたこのお菓子は、今ではフランスを代表する銘菓となりました。

色褪せた金属の質感や、時を重ねて刻まれたかすかな傷跡の一つひとつに、かつてのフランスの日常が色濃く残っています。

蓋を開ければ、甘いミントとキャラメルの香りが漂ってきそうなノスタルジックな佇まい。
そのままインテリアとして飾るのはもちろん、大切なアクセサリーを収めたり、ドライフラワーを添えてリビングの一角を彩る小物入れとしてお使いいただくのもおすすめです。蓋の開閉はスムーズにできます。

光の当たり具合で色味が変わって見えますが、本来はピンク色をしていたようです。蓋のほうが、よりくすんだ色合いです。
