フランスより入荷しました、シーリングスタンプです。
かつてヨーロッパの貴族や商人たちが、手紙の機密を守るために用いた「封蝋」のための道具です。

黒く艶やかな木製のハンドル。そして、長い年月を経て深い飴色へと変化した真鍮の印面。そこには、かつての持ち主の面影を感じさせる「G」と「J」のカリグラフィが刻まれています。
当時のフランスでは、こうしたパーソナルなスタンプを仕立てることは、持ち主の教養とステータスの証でもありました。

経年による小さな傷や金属のくすみがございますが、アンティークならではの味としてお楽しみください。
