フランスより入荷しました、古い邸宅の書斎に置かれていたかのような、深い飴色の艶を纏ったアンティーク・ウッドボックスです。
長い年月を経て刻まれた木の傷や、プレートの渋い錆び感が味わい深いお品。
中央に配されたダイヤモンド型のプレートには、「SNAP」の文字。これは当時、堅牢な金具や事務用品を手掛けていたメーカーの証であり、造りの良さを物語っています。

内側は、外側の凛とした表情とは対照的に、温かみのある赤みがかった色合いが残っています。蓋を開けるたびに、どこか懐かしいフランスの古い空気を感じさせてくれるはずです。

散らかりがちな文房具や領収書をひとまとめに。
通帳やパスポート、大切な写真などを仕舞う場所に。
現代の暮らしの中でも活躍しそうな収納箱です。

※持ち上げると、前の金具の遊び部分の関係で少し蓋が浮きます(2mmほど)
