フランスの古い暮らしの中で大切に使われてきた、手編みのアンティーク・バスケットです。長い年月を経て、自然素材が深みのある美しい色へと育っており、置くだけでその場の空気をしっとりと落ち着かせてくれるような佇まいをしています。

職人の指先から生み出された繊細な網目と、縁を彩る立体的な装飾編みが優雅な印象。底部はしっかりと組まれており、当時の手仕事の丁寧さが伺えます。

リネンのクロスを敷いて、焼きたてのバゲットや果物を置いたり、お気に入りの手紙やレース、手仕事の道具をまとめて。

ひっかけ部分もあり、吊るすディスプレイも素敵です。

長い年月、人から人へと受け継がれてきた証として、全体的に綺麗なオーバル型とは言いづらい歪みが見受けられます。しかし、その左右非対称な姿こそがアンティークならではの愛嬌であり、温かみを感じさせてくれます。
